Well, that was cool! Proud to have been a part of Well, that was cool! Proud to have been a part of this extraordinary event put on by our friends @42_north at the @mfaboston last week. When @britt__cole__ asked if we could paint a 12’ x 60’ mural live, IN ONLY 2 HOURS!, I wanted to say it wasn’t possible. That’s a lot of canvas to cover, and a lot of variable’s that could go wrong. But of course we said yes, and came up with a plan we felt confident about and a team that we knew were up to the task. Designed to embody the moody seascapes of Winslow Homer, our mural is a nod to the MFAs newly opened exhibit of Homers watercolors. The amazing design of @petalharder and @hmrdesigns brought the mural to life further with a curved wall embracing the audience and an immersive marsh grass environment making it feel as if you were in one of the artists scenes.
