Thanks to an invite from good friend Caleb Neelon, we were able to collaborate with him on a fun little mural for the lobby of Cybereason. Located in the Back Bay neighborhood of Boston, their new office needed some custom lobby art to help bring some energy to the entryway and help them stand out from their neighbors.
Using their logo, some “malops”, a couple sharks, and some other bits taken from their brand identity we created this fun piece in a day in order to be reveled as a surprise the next day.
Hope everyone at Cybereason enjoys it! Thanks Caleb!
We were recently invited back to EveryBodyFights to work on two new treatments for a couple different areas of the space. As they built out their programs they determined they needed some differentiation between the vibes in the different rooms/areas.
So after brainstorming on concepts we came up with some creative direction and pitched full-on room treatments for the Bag Room and Mind/Body Room. Using window treatments/screens, custom colored lighting as well as top-to-bottom wall/graphic treatments we created a vibe appropriate for each rooms activity….
We gave the Bag Room an “underground” feel, complete with a faux-concrete wall, faded graffiti hits, pipe stains and and screens for the windows The Mind and Body room took a needed a less aggressive feel, so using custom colored lights, and a wrap around mural featuring the brands ethos/motivational phrases, we created a “cloud like” feel in the room, to help tune out any distractions while getting your Zen on.
Always fun working with George and AJ….Thanks guys! Hope to do it again soon!
We we’re excited to be asked by Josh Winer to join a big project for the Rooftop Garden at Kendall Center (formerly Cambridge Center) late this summer. The project was our largest to date and challenged us in many ways, but it was a great experience overall, especially working with Josh and DCL.
FYI – the artwork in this project is not ours. We are just rendering a provided design.
A while back we were contracted to paint a logo mural for a new restaurant in Wakefield, MA called Laurie’s 9:09. A fairly straight forward project, we added this appx 9ft diameter logo to the exterior brick wall along the train tracks.
It was great meeting and working with Laurie and we wish the restaurant much success!
This past December we were asked by Samuel Adams to help them launch their new beer, Rebel IPA, at an event at the Middle East in Cambridge, MA. We created a medium sized panel that we prepped in studio and then painted live during the event. The concept was to incorporate words and phrases in the piece that were being tweeted with the hashtag #rebelipa.
Our good friend Jesse O’Driscoll was brought in to produce a little video of the process…and the awesome result is below..along with a few pics from Samuel Adams.
We had a great time with this one… Working for a beer company has its perks and we were kept pretty happy throughout this project..and for some time after as well.
Thanks for coming our way Sam…hope we get to work together again soon!
We were recently contacted by LLM Design once again for a fun opportunity at 225 Franklin St in downtown Boston. They were looking for some wall graphics to help make an empty space in the building feel a little cooler, and ready for a young company to move right in.
We worked with LLM to come up with a creative strategy, creating abstract cityscapes with a lot of texture while complementing the existing color scheme of the space.
Check out the pics of the finished walls below!
